She is a Entrepreneur, Performing Artist, Speaker and Certified Mind Set Coach.

Sonovia describes herself as a Bahamian Ambassador. She had the esteemed role of representing The Bahamas as early as age fourteen when she held the coveted crown of "Hal Jackson’s, Ms. Talented Teen Bahamas" after which she held the title of "Ms. Black Teenage World (Bahamas)". She has also prepared Ms. Bahamas World and Ms. Bahamas Universe to represent The Bahamas as Pageant Choreographer.
